1. MGNREGA

This sub-initiative of Mission Shakti is primarily focused on women’s empowerment and includes schemes like PMKVY, SANKALP, Shakti Sadan, etc. SAMARTHYA is primarily focused on ensuring self-reliance among women through skill development.
4. Krishionnati Yojana

6. Strengthening Teaching, Learning, & Results
STARS is the most significant among the Himachal Pradesh Government Important Schemes launched in 2024-2025 for improvement in the education sector. Introduced to strengthen vocational education, this scheme focuses on the ongoing professional growth of educators to improve learning outcomes for students. Apart from teachers’ professional development, it aims to improve schools’ infrastructure to ensure a better learning environment for students.
7. Samagra Shiksha
The Himachal Pradesh government was provided with funds under this centrally proposed education scheme, which was focused on improving school students’ learning outcomes and providing equal learning opportunities to all. The main focus of this scheme is to create an engaging classroom environment by catering to the various needs of children, ensuring the active participation of all. Appointing additional teachers, reducing the student-to-teacher ratio, and providing additional physical facilities, etc., are provided through this scheme.
8. Swachh Bharat Mission (Grameen)
This initiative was launched by the state government under the ongoing scheme launched by the state government in 2014. When it was initially launched, its primary goal was to achieve ODF status by providing access to toilets in rural areas; however, it is now focused on sustaining ODF status, managing solid and liquid waste, visual cleanliness, and encouraging communities to participate in hygiene practices to ensure good health.
